Trading involves substantial risk of loss
Trading financial instruments — shares, options, futures, foreign exchange, or any other market — carries a real and substantial risk of financial loss. You can lose some or all of the money you commit to trading, and in leveraged or derivative products, more than your original investment. Nothing about using Helm changes that risk. If you are not prepared to bear losses, you should not trade.
Helm is a software tool, not a financial adviser
Helm is infrastructure: it connects your broker, charts, market data, and other tools to an AI assistant of your choosing, and it carries context and workflow state between sessions. Helm is not a broker, not a financial adviser, not a registered investment adviser, and not a financial product issuer. Using Helm does not create an advisory relationship between you and HELM Systems, Tripod Advisory Group Pty Ltd, or any of their staff.
AI output is not a recommendation
Any AI assistant you connect through Helm — including analysis, summaries, staged actions, or anything it says or proposes — is a computed output, not investment advice and not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. AI models can be wrong, can misread data, and can produce plausible-sounding output that does not hold up. You are responsible for evaluating anything an AI assistant produces before acting on it, exactly as you would evaluate any other tool's output.
Past performance is not indicative of future results
Nothing shown in Helm — historical data, backtested figures, prior trades, or any other retrospective information — predicts or guarantees future performance. Markets change. Strategies that worked before can fail without warning. Do not treat historical results, whether generated by you, by an AI assistant, or by any cassette or add-on, as a promise of what will happen next.
You are responsible for your orders and your credentials
Helm runs on your machine, with your credentials, connected to the broker and platforms you already use. Every order that reaches your broker does so because you or a tool acting under your direction and configuration caused it to. You are responsible for reviewing what Helm and any connected AI assistant are about to do before you authorise it, for the security of your own credentials and devices, and for every order placed under your account — whether entered by hand or via an automated step you approved. HELM Systems does not place trades on your behalf and does not take custody of your funds or your broker credentials.
Market data and third-party information
Market data, charts, news, and broker execution reach you through third-party providers you have chosen to connect. HELM Systems does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that data, and delays, gaps, or errors in third-party data can and do occur. Verify anything time-sensitive or decision-critical against your broker or data provider directly before acting on it.
No guaranteed outcomes
HELM Systems does not guarantee profit, the avoidance of loss, uptime, or any particular trading result. Any statement, in this document or elsewhere, that could be read as promising a trading outcome is not intended and should not be relied upon — if you see one, treat it as an error and report it to legal@helmstack.app.
Seek independent, licensed advice
This disclosure is general information about how Helm works and what it is not. It is not personal financial advice and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation, or needs. Before making trading or investment decisions, consider seeking advice from a licensed financial adviser, broker, or other qualified professional who can assess your individual circumstances.
